THE PATH TO GOD
"It was through what his Son did that God cleared a path for everything (everyone) to come to him - all things in heaven and on earth - for Christ's death on the cross has made peace with God for all by his blood. This includes you who were once so far away from God" (Colossians 1:20-21 LB).Jesus Christ, God's Son, is the only path to God the Father - the only way to heaven. The Bible has told us so. It has also told us: "but to all who received Him, He gave the right to become children of God. All they needed to do was to trust Him to save them."
You may know with certainty that when you depart this earth you will spend an eternity of joy in Heaven. Youmust only receive Jesus. To do so, pray the following meaning it in your heart:
"Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the only path to God the Father and that Your death on the cross has made peace with God for me through the shedding of Your sinless Blood. Forgive my sins; I receive You now as my personal Lord and Savior. From this time forth, I will follow You. Teach me to know You and the Father and give me understanding of Your Word, the Bible. Thank You for saving me and giving me Your gift of eternal life. Than You, Heavenly Father, also, in Jesus' Name."
If you prayed the prayer above, you are now a child of God and your Heavenly Father has much to teach and reveal to you. Colossians 1:22 says, "Christ has brought you into the very presence of God, and you are standing there before him with nothing left against you - nothing that he could even chide you for." Isn't that wonderful?
